The gentle rain

As this morning began with a gentle April rain - I started the day with a morning devotion with my friend Hope Dunbar.  The thing I love about my friends, is that they pray for me, with me and also strengthen me.  They see my dreams and help me reach them - and I love watching them reach theirs!  This morning, we meditated on 1 John 1: 5-10.  In this passage, John writes about our walk with God, and verse 7 says:  “But if we walk in the light, as he is in the light, we have fellowship with one another…”

Fellowship with one another is my favorite part about life. Walking with each other … during the good, the bad and the ugly.  I can’t imagine trying to do any of this alone and if my experience in life can help another person - I want to help their walk too.

So, my last blog post was October 31, 2020…. I have hand written notes/ideas/dreams all over the place… none of them make sense to anyone but me.  But I do know, in October, when I wrote a blog entry on this website everyday, I felt energized.  So I want to do it again… I joined the writing community COMPEL training in September, and have been quietly observing the online training.  They launched a write everyday challenge… Yesterday.  Old Marci would have said… whelp, you missed the start...you’ll have to catch the next one…. But, new Marci says - Awesome… I’m right on time, I will just write 2 entries one day, and I’ll be caught up.

So - here we go… another 30 days of writing everyday….
