What's Next?

I can’t believe there are only 5 more days in October.  I have been praying, dreaming, reading and talking with the mastermind group about what is next for Third Down Punt.  I want to keep writing - but I also want to figure out what Third Down Punt wants to become.  I do not want it to be a platform to just talk about cancer.  When Third Down Punt came into my heart, I thought of building a place to help anyone who is facing any life crisis where they need to punt.  So many times in life we find ourselves in situations that our lives take a different path than we ever thought possible…. That can be cancer, losing a loved one, career shifts, midlife crisis…COVID… So you punt.  This punt is not giving up, it is strategically sending in the defense so you can rest, reflect and create a new game plan. 

When I first paid for the domain Third Down Punt - I created an events tab, because I envisioned having groups of women helping other women.  This would be a different kind of support group.  It would be motivation and goal setting through life’s tough stuff.  I wanted to have book clubs, bible studies and weekend retreats.  I wanted Third Down Punt to be a place where women can bring their life, just as it is and learn a new way to play. 

I know events might not be in person right now, but I want to start dreaming about upcoming events.  (They will just be zoom meetings right now).  I want to help patients going through cancer who need support.  I want to help women who feel a calling to make a complete career shift, even when it does not make sense. I want to help people confidently punt on the third down, send in the defense and prepare for the next great play. Stay tuned for what’s next!
